Composition: Sildenafil
Indications
Treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Dosage
Adults: The recommended dose is 50 mg. Based on efficacy and tolerance, the dose may be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. The maximum dose is 100 mg per day.
Elderly (over 65 years), patients with moderate to severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 ml/min), and patients with hepatic impairment: The initial dose is 25 mg. Based on efficacy and tolerance, the dose may be increased to 50 mg and 100 mg.
Patients with mild renal impairment (creatinine clearance 30-80 ml/min): Use the same dose as adults.
Patients taking other medications: The initial dose should not exceed 25 mg/day if taking CYP3A4 inhibitors (ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin, saquinavir); do not exceed 25 mg sildenafil within 48 hours when taken with ritonavir; an initial dose of 25 mg should be considered when taken with alpha-blockers. Higher doses should not be taken within 4 hours of taking alpha-blockers due to the risk of orthostatic hypotension.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Patients with angina or heart conditions being treated with organic nitrates, cardiovascular problems affecting sexual activity, heart attack or stroke within the last six months.
Severe hepatic impairment, extremely high or low blood pressure.
Eye conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (<30°C).
